What is The Heartland Quilt Network?
The Heartland Quilt Network connects quilt guilds, quilt
shops, and professionals across the Midwest. We share information about our
programs, workshops, shows, and events to promote the popular and enduring art
of quilt making.
We are pleased to welcome long arm quilters to the HQN membership. You can find
these long arm quilters listed under the professional's page.
How does The Heartland Quilt Network (HQN) do this?
HQN provides its members several ways to share information:
A handy roster of phone numbers, addresses, e-mail and website addresses
of the professionals and quilt shops that are members. You can also see the
calendar of meeting location and times and who are the contacts.
Annual meeting that showcases the offerings of our artists/professionals,
presents topics of practical benefit to all our members, and brings together
enthusiasts from a broad area and various segments of the quilting industry.
Information packets of members' brochures.
Quarterly newsletter that lists guilds' meeting dates, upcoming shows and
events, and teachers' schedules.
Our Mission
The mission of The Heartland Quilt Network is to provide
opportunities for quilt professionals, quilt shops, and quilt guilds within the
heartland area to network together. We share information through quarterly
newsletters, a roster of members, a website, and an annual meeting.
